How I Can Be of Service to You

Probate, Letters Testamentary, Determination of Heirship

Get Signing Authority for a Decedent's Assets

Have you been told that you need Letters Testamentary to access the accounts of a loved one?

Has a title company told you that you do not have signing authority for a decedent's house or mineral interests?

Our specialty since 2009 is getting clients through the probate court process so they can get a judge's court order and Letters Testamentary proving they can sign for a Decedent's assets.

We also help Executors communicate with beneficiaries to fulfill an Executor's duty of fair dealing and to help prevent Will contests and expensive multi-year litigation.

Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning

Provide A Stable Transition for Loved Ones

Do you want the Texas Estates Code's default formula to decide where your assets go at death?

We can help you design a customized estate to get your assets to go where you want under the conditions you want on your passing.

Special customizations may include (a) divorce protection for kids, (b) creditor protection for beneficiaries, and (c) protective trusts for minor and disabled beneficiaries.

Disability planning instruments (e.g., powers of attorney, living wills, declaration of guardian for minor children) are standard with all new estate plans. We also assist with beneficiary designations, "pay on death" elections, and limited deed work.

Estate, Gift, and Fiduciary Taxes

IRS Forms 706, 709, and 1041

"In this world, nothing is certain but death and taxes." Ben Franklin.

How would you feel if IRS told your Executor that she had to pay a 40% estate tax from your personal assets to the US Treasury before she could carry out the instructions in your Will?

We would be happy to put our 13+ years of knowledge of arcane IRS rules, regulations, and forms to prevent and minimize taxes for you and your loved ones. Our optometrist tells us we are short sighted from many years of reading IRS fine print - you don't have to suffer our fate!
